We are located at 2011 W North Ave, right at the corners of North, Damen, and Milwaukee Avenues.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO GET THERE?
CTA
We’re directly around the corner from the CTA Damen Blue Line “L” stop.
If you’re taking a bus, we’re accessible from the CTA North (72), Damen (50), or Milwaukee (56) bus. Just hop out at the corners of North, Damen, and Milwaukee.
Parking
Hello street parking is available along North, Damen and Milwaukee Ave, I recommend downloading the Park Chicago app and registering if you want to.

IS SUBTERRANEAN ACCESSIBLE?
We take pride in creating a space where everyone feels welcome and safe, and we strive to provide accommodations for all guests to the best of our ability. Due to Subterranean’s building having been constructed in 1889, there are some firm limitations to accessibility.
While we commit to doing everything in our power to accommodate when given advanced notice, access to our second floor (Main Ballroom) sits at the top of a long set of stairs, and bathrooms in the Main Ballroom are up another flight of stairs onto the balcony. The second and third floors are Standing Room Only, unless otherwise specified. Guests who require accessible accommodation please contact info@subt.net at least one week prior to the event.
Downstairs at Subterranean is fully wheelchair accessible, including restrooms.
Subterranean staff can provide assistance when possible. If you have tickets to an upcoming event and require special accommodation, or have questions, please contact info@subt.net at least one week prior to the event.
CAN I HOLD A PRIVATE EVENT AT SUBTERRANEAN?

WHAT ARE ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION?
To attend any 17+ event at Subterranean you need physical valid, government issued form of identification with the picture. No pictures of pictures of pictures your ID!
CAN I COME TO SUBTERRANEAN IF I’M UNDER 21?
Each show has its own individual age restriction, either All Ages, 17 & Over, or 21& Over. Check out the listings for the show you are interested in. ALL 17+ restricted shows require a valid government issued ID. No exceptions.
IF I’M UNDER THE LISTED AGE RESTRICTION CAN I COME WITH A PARENT / GUARDIAN / OF AGE FRIEND?
Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions to our age restrictions.
CAN I BRING MY CAMERA TO SHOOT PHOTOS?
Our photo policy is dictated by the individual bands photo policy. Email us at info@subt.net to request photo access. Please send detailed photo examples and or proper photo credentials. Cell phone cameras are generally allowed.
CAN MY BAND PLAY A SHOW AT SUBTERRANEAN?
For sure, we will do our best! Email us at booking@subt.net. Please allow ample time for a response.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
We accept credit/debit at all of our bars in the building. If you are purchasing tickets at the door we accept cash only. Please bring cash prior to the event.
